For all of you flower lovers out there….. this dance will be so special. I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Marget Maldonado from Dendro Flower Farm. Originally from Venezuela, Marget and her family moved here several years ago and continued their family’s passion for growing flowers. If you’ve seen cut flower Calla Lillies in a local store, chances are they came from Dendro Farm.
This dance, however, will be focused on PEONIES! Dendro Farm has several fields of peonies and we will be dancing during blooming season. Imagine yourself surrounded by these beautiful, fragrant beauties, while you feel the aliveness in your body. We will connect to the plants on several different levels, including dancing, the art of Kything, playing with flowers, and selecting blooms to bring home with us.
This dance will be held in the late afternoon on Sunday, June 25 from 5:30-8:00pm. I envision us reveling in the afternoon sunshine with the flowers, listening deeply and resonating with their joyous vibration, and winding down the evening with them in a gentle way, preparing ourselves to enter the week from a place of deeply held spirit and groundedness.
